Institute for Mindful Leadership

We know that we can train the body to be more resilient, flexible and stronger. And now we have learned from decades of research that there is a way to train the mind to be more focused and resilient. Presenting this training in the context of working and living in today’s world is the mission of the Institute for Mindful Leadership.

In our retreats, workshops and courses, we explore mindful leadership training as a way to strengthen and cultivate four hallmarks of leadership excellence-focus, clarity, creativity and compassion. The training is grounded in neuroscience and the collective experience of top business leaders.

We understand that those in positions of direct leadership are not the only ones who can benefit from mindful leadership training. We also deliver exceptional courses and workshops for all employees in the workplace. These offerings recognize the need to fully develop the mind’s capabilities so that every employee can live his or her life to the fullest, at work and at home.

The Founder of the Institute is Janice Marturano, a former Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at General Mills, and a certified mindfulness teacher. Since 2006, she has brought her mindful leadership retreats and workshops to organizational leaders from around the world, most recently teaching a capacity crowd at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
